What are the opening hours?

The library’s office hours are from 9:00 until 17:30;

Opening Hours for visitors

  • monday to friday from 10:00 to 18:00 (without a lunch break);
  • saturday from 10:00 to 15:00

What are the telephone numbers for contacting the Library?

Are audiobooks issued to all users?

No. Audiobooks are issued only to those who cannot read conventional print.

How do I become a library user?

You need to present a medical certificate issued to the effect that you are not able to read conventional print.

May the library users also be people without visual problems?

Yes. We have lots of books in conventional print.

Do you have any music discs?

Yes, we do have music CDs. They are available at the reading room.

Can I enter in library with my pet?

Guide dogs are the only animals allowed in the library.

What is necessary for listening to Audiobooks?

For listening to Audiobooks, CD or MP3 player.

Can I order some texts for personal reasons in Braille and how much does it cost?

Yes, you can. You can print Braille texts in the reading room by yourself or make an order for it at the Braille department (the quantity of pages may not exceed 10 A4-sized sheets in Braille). This service is free of charge.
